NPO法人こころの森の館長。幻　一（まぼろし　はじめ）は、1942年に京都市で生まれで木版画家であり詩人。1991年京都・大本山南禅寺派 宗雲寺にて得度し、禅僧となる。 1979年から“人々の喜怒哀楽のこころ”を描く「五百羅漢」をテーマに木版画で制作を始め、1997年に500羅漢全像作品を19年間で終える。 2000年から、子供たちの“無邪気なこころ”を「わらべ羅漢」に託し木版画で制作を始め、現在、その作品は、300点を超え、制作中である。展覧会や講演会、幻一 こころの談話室「 顔とこころ ＝ 筆で描く喜怒哀楽 」、版画講座等を開催し、国内外で幅広く各地で活躍している。また、今年は、画業50周年を迎える。 Hajime Maboroshi was born in Kyoto in 1942. He is a woodcut artist, poet and Zen priest. This is his 50th anniversary as a painter this year. And he is a director of the Cocoro-no-mori Art Museum. He completed the production of 500 all works in 1997 the “500 Rakan woodcut” by over 19 years from 1979. He is man of vision. First of all, he loves all living beings. Second, he seeks for peace. Third, he desire Freedom. Forth, he prays for everybody’s Happiness. Finally, believes that Peace Happiness comes from Freedom. His pictures and poetic words the message of Peace and happiness.

アメリカ・シアトル大学芸術学部ヴィジュアルアート／デジタルデザイン学科教授。デジタルデザインプログラムディレクター。シアトル大学芸術学部デジタルデザイン学科教授。デジタルデザインプログラム、シエナ/イタリア留学プログラムディレクター。京都に生まれ、2002年、オレゴン大学芸術修士号（MFA）取得後オレゴン大学芸術学部講師を経てシアトル大学の助教授として就任、そして2009年に教授に昇格。現在はシアトルを拠点に、インスターレションアーティスト（空間構成芸術家)、ブックアーティストとして活躍。米国内では、ニューヨーク、フィラデルフィア、アトランタ、シカゴ、シアトル、ポートランド、アンカレッジの他、海外ではインド・ニューデリー、ハンガリー・ブダペスト、日本国内各地（大阪、京都、豊岡、横浜、長野、福島、釜石)などで個展、グループ展を行い、 国際的に活動を行っている。   Naomi Kasumi is an Associate Professor of Fine Arts, and Director of Digital Design program, Director of Siena (Italy) Study abroad Program at Seattle University. She was born in Kyoto, Japan and received an MFA degree in Visual Design from University of Oregon. After becoming a visiting assistant professor at University of Oregon, she moved to Seattle to build a Digital Design program in the Department of Fine Arts at Seattle University. Currently Naomi has been living in Seattle, Washington, being a researcher/artist, teacher, and graphic designer. Her research and creative work have been focused on a series of personal memorial rituals, the MEM: memory•memorial project, in Installation art/Book art form. Naomi held numerous Solo and Group exhibitions in cities in the U.S.A, which include New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Eugene, Anchorage, and internationally in New Delhi, India, Budapest, Hungary, and Cities in Japan that include Osaka, Kyoto, Toyooka, Yokohama, Nagano, Fukushima, Kamaishi.

1953年、熊本・人吉市に生まれる。学生の頃に、畦地梅太郎、浅野竹二の版画展を見て強く感動を受け、そのまま京都にて木版画修行に没頭しました。それ以降住む場所を変え、 現在福岡(日本の南西)在住しています。 60才を迎えて、ようやく最近自分の作品に自信が持てる様になりました。 作品は、自分が制作はしているものの、前から私の中に存在していてそれを外に出す手助けをしているだけに過ぎないのではないのだろうかと思う時がよく有ります。また、自分の作品を見ていて自分自身感じる事は、一貫して流れるユーモアかもしれません。それに哀しみを少しだけブレンドして(チャップリンの白黒サイレント映画の様な物) Gashu Fukami was born in Kumamoto 1953. The time of the student, in response to the strong impression to see the Print Exhibition Azechi Umetaro, Asano Takeji, then I was immersed in Hanga training in Kyoto as it is. On about 60 years old, I begin to have confident in my workfinally. I produced prints but they had been　already a pre-existing .　There often are times when l think,　I just help them coming out from my inside.

Prior to joining the University of Oregon in 2007, she exhibitions at Taylor de Cordoba Gallery (Los Angeles), Elizabeth Leach Gallery (Portland, OR), Shaheen Modern & Contemporary (Cleveland, OH), Virgil de Voldere Gallery (New York), Galeria Il Capricorno (Venice, Italy), and Andrea Rosen Gallery 2 (New York). Her work has been reviewed inlived and worked in New York City. Liu received an MFA from Columbia University in 2003 and a BA from Brandeis University in 1997. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including solo the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, and Flash Art International and is included the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the New Museum (New York), and the Progressive Art Collection (Cleveland, OH).

1944年サンサルバドル市生まれ。芸術家、修復家及び美術教師。サンサルバドル国立芸術センター（ＣＥＮＡＲ）にてベンジャミン・サウル（スペイン人彫刻家）氏と人間の姿の描画を研究するほか、ＣＥＮＡＲ及びホセ・マティアス・デルガード大学応用美術課において版画の指導に従事している。 絵画ではインク、オイル、アクリル、水彩及びこれらを複合した様々なテクニックやスタイルを使用し、彫刻では再生木材、鉄及び多色の大理石の浅彫りを主に制作している。 今回の作品を制作するに当たり，同氏は，実験的に様々な表現方法や技術を使用することで，創造性豊かな新しい世界を表現することができたと述べている。 Lucy Bicard was born in 1944, in San Salvador, El Salvador. Artist, restorer and art teacher. Studied art in the CENAR (National Arts Center) of San Salvador. Drew the human figure with Spanish sculptor Benjamín Saúl. Created wood prints in the National Arts Center (CENAR) and the School of Applied Arts of the University Dr. Jose Matías Delgado. Has dabbled in painting, with different techniques and styles that include ink, oil, acrylic, watercolor and mixed media. “The experimentation with forms and techniques carried me to a world of creativity in which I can see another world,” Licry comments on these pieces of art.

1971年サンサルバドル市生まれ。 1999年～2000年に版画の勉強のため訪日。サンサルバドル国立芸術センター（ＣＥＮＡＲ）で版画指導に従事。 2006年より日本とエルサルバドルの現代芸術交流展に４回出展しており、同氏の作品は、国内をはじめキューバ、チリ、プエルトリコ、日本、スペイン、カナダ、米国、デンマーク、コロンビア、ブラジルでも見ることができる。 今回の作品ついて，同氏は，自身のプラスティック・アート作品との因果関係を垣間見ることができるだろうと述べている。. Giovanni Gil was born in 1971, in San Salvador, El Salvador. Traveled to Japan to study wood printing in 1999-2000. He teaches wood printing in the National Arts Center (CENAR). Has presented four times his art works in the exposition “Contemporary Exchange between El Salvador and Japan” since 2006. It is possible to see his works in El Salvador, the United States, Japan, Cuba, Chile, Puerto Rico, Spain, Canada, Denmark, Colombia and Brazil. Gil mentions that one may be able to glimpse the cause and effect relationship between his wood prints and his plastic arts.

1943年サンサルバドル市生まれ。1959～1963年までエルサルバドル人芸術家ホセ・メヒア・ビデス氏のもとで、描画、絵画、美術史及び色彩理論を学ぶ。 今回の作品では、「幻想をテーマに異なった６作品」をエッチングで紹介している。このシリーズはジョルト氏の内面から湧き出るイメージを夢に反映し、そのイメージを同氏から紙へと直接伝えて表現されている。作品は陽気でユーモアと喜びに溢れており、それぞれの作品のメッセージが他の作品をサポートしている。 Salvador Llort was born in 1943, in San Salvador, El Salvador. Took classes in drawing, painting, art history and color theory with Salvadoran artist José Mejía Vides between 1959 and 1963. Salvador Llort explains that his art series, “Los Ilusos (a series of six illusion themes):”This series comes from the images I have within me… dreamlike reflections of my imagination… direct and spontaneous transmission from my mind to my hand, and from my hand to the paper. Cheerful artwork, ironic and full of joy. Usually I like to exhibit them together because they support each other, making a more complete message of the themes.
